The rules of engagement. Please read carefully before using Ngomul.

1.The Service
Ngomul is an AI-powered transcription and UX research platform. We convert audio and video files into text transcripts, with optional speaker identification and insight extraction. Our service is provided on a credit-based system: you purchase credits, and each transcription consumes credits based on duration and features used.
2.Your Account
You may sign in using Google OAuth. By doing so, you agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We collect only your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We do not store your Google password.
3.Credits and Payments
Credit System
- Ngomul operates on a prepaid credit system
- You purchase credits through our payment partners
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
- Credits do not expire unless your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months
Pricing
Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page. We may adjust pricing with 14 days notice via email. Your existing credits remain valid at the rate purchased.
Usage
- Each transcription job displays the credit cost before you confirm
- Credits are deducted when you submit a transcription job
- If a job fails due to our system error, credits are automatically refunded within 24 hours
4.Refunds and Disputes
Credit Refunds
We do not offer cash refunds for purchased credits. However, you may request a credit refund to your account balance in the following situations:
- A system error caused incorrect credit deduction
- A transcription job failed entirely due to our infrastructure
Credit refunds are processed within 3-5 business days.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about charges or service quality:
- Contact us first: Email legal@ngomul.com with your issue within 30 days
- Response time: We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days
- Good faith resolution: We will work to resolve issues through credit adjustments
5.What You Upload
Your Ownership
- You retain all ownership rights to your audio/video files and transcription results
- We do not claim copyright or ownership of your content
- We will never sell, license, or commercially exploit your files or transcripts
Prohibited Content
You may not use Ngomul to process content that:
- ✕Violates Indonesian law or the law of your jurisdiction
- ✕Infringes intellectual property rights
- ✕Contains CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or illegal content
- ✕Is intended for fraud, harassment, or illegal surveillance
6.Fair Use
- No automation abuse: You may not use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to mass-create accounts or submit jobs
- Rate limits: We enforce reasonable rate limits to ensure service quality for all users
- Account sharing: Each account is for one user. Team features allow invited collaborators, but credentials may not be shared
7.Service Quality and Limitations
- AI accuracy: Transcription accuracy varies by audio quality, accents, and language. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy
- Processing time: Estimated times are provided but not guaranteed. Complex files may take longer
- Downtime: We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance
- Third-party services: We use AI providers and cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare). Service limitations from these providers may affect Ngomul
8.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes:
- We will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
- We will post a notice on the website and update the "Last Updated" date
- Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms
- If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the service
9.Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Ngomul, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
